I'm up, I'm up - amazingly around eight-and-a-half hours of sleep - up a few times, but still, it was nice.

Amusingly, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong in scheduling the notes and they posted perfectly exactly when they should.

Tuesday morning greetings!  Two of my 3 women's organizations have their first meetings of the year this week.  Yesterday's Current Events Club meeting went fine and I'm hoping for the same from DAR today.  Looking forward to tomorrow, when I can stay home and not be in charge of anything.

TOD - Funny you should ask about Italian food today, because we went to Olive Garden for dinner last night and brought home enough leftovers for tonight's dinner.  While it's not the best I've ever had, it'll do in a pinch.

DR Elmore, that's interesting about Dale Kugel's involvement with the Li'l Abner score. Did he handwrite his additional cues in, as was done for a couple of the R&H scores? And are those by any chance his work?

But we're not seeing his work here, are we? I got my Abner score out and all of the pages that seller posted match my published one exactly, except for the list of instrumentation up front added by Tams. Both are as I remember it from when I did it as a high schooler - my first ever show.

The Tams-Witmark piano/conducxtor is the published score with handwritten information, and each score Dale worked on has different amounts of his writing and cueing.

My morning started with a 3-way video chat with my sister (in Michigan) and my niece (in Florida).  Laura is staying with Diane until they can get her home utilities reconnected.  She's making progress and is in very good spirits.

Since I see no signs of Dale's hand, I can only assume that he felt the cues in the published score were sufficient. Then, again, the seller might have ignored pages with his handwriting because he didn't realize what those markings meant.

I will keep in mind that there might exist a fully Dale-notated version. (Sadly, my most recent useful site for finding scores was closed down a few months ago.)

It really is funny, though, the prices these eBay guys come up with.

Here's another:  https://shrtm.nu/LXBE  --  DR Elmore, I'm sure it's no surprise to you, but get a load of the piano reduction credit in this one.

I hate it when there are too many possibilities when one letter is missing!

Had a dark chocolate sorbet that tasted like a brownie. And a scoop of lime sorbet that was absolute perfection.

The prices are really cheap this trip. The strength of the dollar against the euro is surprising.
