The first neighbors I saw when I peaked outside made all the appropriate calls, including calling the people who manage our complex.  We were impressed with how quickly the two men who work & supervise the property arrived.

In our building, the day they test the alarms is quite challenging. It goes on much of the day, and inside it is piercing. Since I work from home, and my work involves being on the phone, it is not pleasant and quite intrusive.

We have 19 units in our building. I am guessing that is around 75 alarms to test, and with each test we all hear the alarm.

The judge would have had every right to toss him from the courtroom and not allow him any more witnesses - but she doesn't want a mistrial. He stared her down like he was Charles Manson and she called a break and told him if it continued he'd be banished to the other room. He's completely unprepared to question his witnesses, can't find his paperwork, and today he has wasted almost four hours of the jury and the court's time.
