So, I had the J&J original shot, the Pfiser 1st booster, and now the Moderna booster...the triumvirate! ;D

You are well covered.  Just remember it takes awhile before you are protected.

How long?? :-\

It's only 7:30pm here, but I feel like I'm ready for bed now.

Oh, and I also just got the flu shot...other arm, though.

I hope you do not have any side effects!

Thanks, Jane!  Me, too!

Fortunately, I didn't really have any kind of reaction to either of the previous shots, so I think I'll be okay. :)

Seymore "Red" Press in the foreground.

But doesn't this look like it could be our dear DR elmore3003 in the background?

And speaking of Oklahoma!, I just happen to have here at work the 1998 Royal National Theatre cast recording, starring Hugh Jackman and Shuler Hensley, who reunited in the debacle known as the 2022 revisal of The Music Man.

In my opinion, this is a perfect production of Oklahoma!

In 1980, DR Elmore and I saw an exquisite OKLAHOMA in New York, starring Christine Andreas as Laurie.

I’d be very surprised if this turned out NOT to be DR Elmore!

A friend of mine has just returned from a sabbatical trip to England. He returned aboard the Queen Mary 2, which he insists is an ocean liner, NOT a cruise ship.

He had nothing but superlatives to report about the voyage.

DR George - unless I missed it, I don't believe we had your report of how the matinee show - with your family and friends in attendance - went yesterday?

That's absolutely DR Elmore, and it looks like an Encores! rehearsal.

For the most part, it went quite well...only one (but obvious) goober, but the rest of the show was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

I read GIANT by Edna Ferber for my upcoming book discussion.

A major complaint by the new wife to Texas was they they ruined the steaks frying them.

I think that's her best book. I love the musical version.

I went through the photos I'd snapped at Encores! rehearsals, and found just a handful that included "Red" Press during the 1776 orchestra reading and Brigadoon sitzprobe. Here's one from each. He's talking with Rob Berman in the 1776 one, which Rob didn't conduct but he came in for a while to observe.

I'm struggling with The Daughter of Doctor Moreau. It's too silly and overwritten and overwrought. But I'm 60% of the way into it, so I will likely finish it.
