He's reprehensible. And delaying. He's toast. The prosecution did a great job. He has to do his closing argument or he's done. She has to stop him and his BS - this is all in front of the jury.

He's literally trying to delay so he doesn't have to do his argument today, so he can get yet more inane advice from some idiot. The judge is now reading from the law - he doesn't care - he does NOT care. And enough is enough. At this point, she needs to end this right now. She's trying to do what she needs to do to avoid mistrial - but he will never stop. Ever. So she needs to tell him to close or he forfeits his right to close. It's time.

Well, unless he gets the death penalty, thus an automatic appeal, he'll have to pay for an appeal himself. I have no idea what transcript rates are these days. I'm sure it will be expensive.
