It's so weird. Medicare (and I suppose my supplemental?) covers the basic exam, but not the contact lens evaluation or the refraction fee or the retinal imaging or the lenses. Gee, thanks for the help.

I always wonder, as regards health insurance plans, when exactly our eyes and teeth were determined to not be part of our bodies, to the point that even now in 2022 they get such little coverage.

And Medicare has finally added hearing aids though I expect the quality of those covered isn't great.

Oh, I guess I'm up. Had another rough night, but not too rough - up for a couple of hours - ultimately, I got at least seven hours, maybe a bit more.
