Out walking I stopped and talked to a man I know that lives on his boat at our marina. I asked him how we can have a hazardous seas warning here. He said he also saw that but hadn't taken the time to explore it farther. Mostly, understandably, he watches for the wind speed.

He said those warning encompass a very large area and it is probably meant for the mouth of the river, not our stretch here.

Last night, one of the dance students surprised Joy and us assistants with Halloween placemats and napkins that she’d made. They’re sweet.

It was slower today. The busiest booth in our area was handing out a carrot juice cocktail with gin in it. It was quite tasty. Whale Gin.

I am not sure I would want gin in my carrot juice, but then I don't care for gin. I doubt I would say no to tasting it.
