Well, it's time to get out of my car and get to the Center!  Afterward, my friend Margo (who's also taking tonight's training) and will go out to get something to eat...somewhere to be determined.

Well, the newly remodeled Center looks pretty darned spiffy!

We got a tour of the downstairs lobby and main theater orchestra level, and the Black Box (the small second theater space next to the main stage) lobby.

We were also given a three-page "onesheet" of the updated rules and policies to take with us and read.

[George]

They also had paper sign-up sheets for events happening this very weekend!

[George]

I signed up for a couple of things, and for something next week.

[George]

I didn't sign up for everything that was available because I'm taking the updated concessions training tomorrow night, and will sign up for some concessions shifts in addition to ushering.

[George]

After the training, Margo and I walked over to McMenamins Spar Café and we each had the Cheeseburger Slider Trios.  Yummy!!

We chatted and caught up and had a nice time.

[George]

After we said our goodbyes, I did a little shopping at Fred Meyer, but when I got out to my car, there was some kind of medical emergency situation in the parking lot and my car was kind of blocked by the police vehicle! 

[George]

Fortunately, it wasn't any kind of violent situation, but I was actually able to get my car out of the parking space without having to ask the police to move their car.

I didn’t get to see Bill today because he still hadn’t been placed in a 4oom and they don’t allow guests in recovery

He called me around 8 to say that he had finally been given a room

So, last week, I ordered for the library, the movie version of Jesus Christ Superstar.

[George]

I realized that I didn't have it, so I ordered the Blu-ray version.

[George]

One of the Amazon recommendations was a documentary about the making of the movie musical called Superstars: The Documentary.

The original version of the documentary from 2015 was only about 52 minutes, but this Blu-ray release (and there's a DVD available, too) expands the running time to 93 minutes.
