In a bit I'll think about food.

Then again, I may both think about and eat food.

I forgot to mention that I also watched the film of Ira Levin's novel, Sliver. It's horrible and the disgustingly awful screenwriter probably read an outline of the novel because the film is so different. Apparently, the movie tested so poorly that they changed who the killer was, which makes hash of everything. I truly believe that Joe Esterhaz was one of the worst screenwriters in history, despite his several hit films, none of which I cared for and yes that includes Basic Instinct and Jagged Edge. Sliver followed Basic Instinct and Showgirls followed that but that didn't stop idiots at the studios from paying him 1.5 million for a two-page outline of Jade, and 2.5 million for a four-page outline of One Night Stand. That script was so rewritten the he took his name off the film. All those films flopped. After that there were three more flops and he hasn't been heard from as a screenwriter since 2006.

Not that Sliver is Mr. Levin's best, but it still has good things in it and as always he was about ten or more years ahead of the curve in terms of how we are giving away all our privacy.

Hopefully not when it rains.  It sounds fun to have an entire week together.

We just had a very glitchy video chat with Rob and Charlotte.
