I liked the sentencing part of the trial yesterday when the judge was reading quotes from Darrell Brooks' telephone calls from jail and other communications......and every other word was a swear word or a bad name......

I went to the stores today and got some this and that.

And when I got home the only thing that fell out of the bag and hit the floor was a glass candle.......CRASH!!! Just a small one.

There is some pain...and there are pain meds.

Nothing I cannot tolerate, pain-wise. Happily, I needn't "tolerate" any.

I'm up, I'm up - I guess I got eight hours in all - for the first time in over two weeks I had a couple of rough hours around four, then the handyman came at nine-thirty, then I slept till one when I went back to bed at ten.

Food's almost here - a nice Eyetalian sandwich from Fat Sal's. They had some promotion going on I didn't even see, so even with tip, tax, and fees, the total was one dollar less than if I'd driven over there to get it.
