The hatch on the Smart Car is only the window - like an old fashioned station wagon.....the bottom panel does not open....I don't think.....of course I have never tried it.

Perhaps I will tomorrow. ANYWAY sometimes the window decides to drop down.....and knock me in the head......so I usually don't lean in unless I am holding it up OR give it a few seconds to see what it has decided to do.....

Our first weekend is done! We had a little more than 25 people, but they thoroughly enjoyed the show...it's really a good show.
