Well my county has been added to the storm list.....and it is no longer a watch it is a W A R N I N G.

Some inner web wag has said this storm has the same look as the infamous 1978 Indiana blizzard that paralyzed us all for about four days.....

My niece is worried about the party Friday night - so I am hoping we get to then before we get a lot of s**w.

When you were growing up, what movie title promised the most and delivered the least?

However, where we excel is in the emotion and the intensity.  We have a smaller space and use projections, so the lighting is much more interesting and inventive. 

AND our actors are really just better actors...much better.

There's a package delivery today, but it's clearly not showing up for another hour or two or three, so I thing I'll get what's there from yesterday and whatever else has shown up, and get today's tomorrow, since there's also something arriving tomorrow.

Hello, all!

Today, everyone is scurrying around to protect outdoor faucets, etc.

We are expecting a very frigid weekend, starting Friday. Wind chill is expected to be in the single digits.

Brrrrr.

Our condo management sent out a reminder to cover the outdoor faucets.  Keith did that a month ago.  Normally there are lots of seasonal reminders, not just the day before the storm is coming.

I am only marginally interested in this holiday season.

I have a wreath on the front of the house.

Otherwise, zilch.

Meh!

I have my birthday flowers from Bryan that are Christmasy.  Also my menorah.  That's it, sigh.

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  We have hustled and bustled this week and are now in until we go to Cincinnati for Christmas dinner.  It’s supposed to rain tomorrow, then snow and get bitterly cold for a few days.  Fr. Richard has even declared it will be too cold to go to church on Christmas Eve.

I hope you are going ahead of the bad weather.

I am very concerned that won't won't be able to make it to Milwaukee on the 24th.  Bryan now has a guest room so Craig is going to spend Christmas there for the first time.

They don't come home anymore.

I'm glad I live in Arizona. At least, this time of year.

I used to say that about LA.  For years I loved Christmas on the East Coast.  I don't want the cold anymore.

PT starts Friday morning.

I forgot about that and am glad you don't have to wait too long for it.

I'll be leaving for Buffalo in the morning.   The weather should be okay tomorrow, but they're expecting the temperature to drop 30 degrees in a very short time Friday.  Saturday promises 50 mph winds for several hours to be followed by lake-effect snow.  Oh, joy!
