That sure is.  I don't have a spare.

I’m lucky I bought a spare set last time I bought glasses. They were doing a special if you bought a second pair with the same prescription it was at 50% cost .

Without that pair I would have had to call out and Vixdad would have had to call out so he could drive me to the optometrist

Well my county has been added to the storm list.....and it is no longer a watch it is a W A R N I N G.

Some inner web wag has said this storm has the same look as the infamous 1978 Indiana blizzard that paralyzed us all for about four days.....

My niece is worried about the party Friday night - so I am hoping we get to then before we get a lot of s**w.

I had the distinct experience of reporting to Great Lakes Naval Station in January of 1979 to attend an instructor's training course.  This was "after" the great blizzard that dumped about 15 feet of snow on Chicago.  I was absolutely gobsmacked that snow was piled as high as the eaves on houses and that tunnels had been dug out for access to doors and driveways.
