Sure, the minute I call it out - THEN it changes the page. Pure gaslighting 101.

It was 3.75 miles.

Round trip?  It is a little less than that when we walk to the market.

I only went up there to buy feta cheese.

The problem with walking to the market, making sure we don't have to carry too much home.

My trackpad has taken on a life of its own. I may have to shut it off and clean it, although it's not dirty. It zooms things out without me even touching it, and it does other things even though I'm not touching it. Is it haunted????

I don't use trackpads.

I went to acupuncture today, then stopped at Trader Joe's, which surprised me as it wasn't mobbed. Lots of things were sold out, though.

The Good House was directed by people who loved the book too much. There’s too much narration. But you can’t beat Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline.

I resolved my kitchen quandary by deciding to make only a half batch of pecan snowball cookies.

You know if you decide to make the other half I know someone who loves these very very very very very,  very very very very very very very much

For you, DR Vixmom, I’d make a DOUBLE batch!

Is it a sad movie?

Yes, but not entirely. It’s about an alcoholic who has to learn to ask for help.

Some of it is funny. Some of it, filmed in Nova Scotia, is gorgeous.

Starting Black Nativity. In just a few short scenes, Jennifer Hudson reveals why she is an EGOT.

Thanks, not a cheery Christmas movie.

We re-watched Knives Out tonight, to refresh our memory, so will follow it with Glass Onion tomorrow.

And, of course, listen to the Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols from King's College, Cambridge.

Black Nativity is also about, in part, asking for help. Interesting.

Well, I suppose I should (finally) get out of bed and get ready for work.  I need to allow enough time for slippery roads.

Until later!

So, I got to work just a little after 11:00...and only one, count 'em, ONE other person is here! :o

Does that other person also live close to work?

No. He lives out in Lacey (about 8 or 9 miles away).

Kudos to him then.  Has anyone else shown up?

Just the courier who went to the Tumwater branch, came back for a bit, then left around 1:00.
