Marco's pizza. Which was an entire novel trying to order. After I eat, I'll relate to you the ordeal.

I should like to announce that I just assembled, and stuffed into my pie hole, a delicious egg and cheese sandwich on a lightly toasted hard roll.

No breakfast meats, but it was the last roll left over from something, and I could not have put it to better use.

I got my house paid off.

That is wonderful!

TOD:  The arrival of our second granddaughter Hannah.

A blessing indeed!

I don’t wanna work today.

I took today off.  I have to get my new car to the dealer for the assessment of the damaged window, then that estimate can be sent to my insurance company, then hopefully my car can be fixed shortly after that!

I cannot believe it’s taking so long!

Getting the 5-year cancer all free from my doctors.

Closing my uncle's estate - even though two checks have stubbornly NOT been cashed.

Finally get JOSEPH to the stage.

Celebrating the 50th wedding anniversary of my sister & her husband.

I just tried to order Penzeys Sunny Paris on Amazon, as I have a gift card.

That doesn’t sound right, does it?

I bought a tiny amount of it for $14 and a tiny amount of Penzeys smoked paprika for $12.
I only used Amazon because of that gift card.
What do you think is up with those prices?

So, Marco's Pizza - literally a quarter of a mile from my house. Have ordered via DoorDash from there at least twenty times. So, I go to place the order and it's trying to charge an extra 1.49 for extended range delivery. I call. I get people who don't know why, don't understand what I'm talking about, hang up on me, and finally to shut me up just issue me a 5.00 credit. So, I use it and place my order. Normally, it shows up in fifteen minutes. But not this time. Then I can see the Dasher is on his way here - on the FREEWAY. Say what? Then I actually look at the store location and it's one in Tarzana, about ten MILES from here. Say what? I have no idea why it would do that, when it's never done that before. I called the nearby Marco's and told them they might want to check and see why that happened, as it may happen to others. Thankfully, the pizza was still hot.

I went out for Tex-Mex. It’s a new-to-me place relatively close to home. Not bad. Carne guisada was a good choice because I haven’t had to cut anything. Plus two cheese enchiladas.

Of course I completely forgot my new great niece Audrey and my two twin new nephews Duke & Nolan.....all of whom are too cute to be believed....

But their parents don't post photos on Facebook.....so I can't share.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Duke and Nolan are fraternal twins....one with blond hair and one with dark brown hair.....as I have posted before they have a 20 month old brother, Grayson.  I love to see the pictures of the three of them together.

If something seems high I suggest comparing the Amazon price to the product website.  Look for items that are bargains on Amazon vs high.  See's candy is ridiculous on Amazon.  Of course I realize you wanted to get something special with the gift card and splurged
