I can't go into detail for several reasons, but the show went through so many changes in the pre-Broadway tryout and various post-Broadway attempts to fix it that I don't really know what's going on with the Encores! decisions. Joshie is creating new scores from the original Phil Lang orchestra scores, and, as he creates the new scores, I am proofing what he has already copied. For instance, on Wednesday, at City Center, I proofread a number cut in Boston "Through the Bottom of the Glass" that is now back in the show.

Incidentally, in Boston, "Through the Bottom of the Glass" was replaced by this number before it too was cut:

Disney, which is also called the House of Mouse due to the character, may lose the rights to the character. But that reportedly includes just the `Steamboat Willie` version of the character.

Fascinating list. I wonder if copies of the movies will appear in cheap versions. I know that An English-language version of Proust is ready to appear in the U.S., and I expect all manner of Hesse translations will now appear.

This Wuthering Heights is good, even if feels like what we now think of as the Masterpiece Theater style. A very young Timothy Dalton is very effective.
