Yesterday, I was going to go to my mom's house but not until 3:30 or so, so I went and visited my friend Shelly, who lives in the next building from me. We played a game of Phase 10 (I won

) and we chatted...she can be a talker.

After one game, I left and went to my mom's for our quasi-weekly family dinner. This time, we had tacos (quite delish), and then we played a game of Phase 10. My mom won.

I finished Shy last night. Mary Rodgers was an amazing lady and I wish I had known her better. I may move on to Harvey Fierstein's biography next, but I have several other books to consider, like Paul Salsini's Sondheim and Me, the Sondheim Review saga. I always found it such an ass-kissing magazine.
