Now that Cache is over, I remember what I disliked about it the first time. What sets the film in motion is never resolved. I think that’s what I liked this time through. As obsessed as the main character is about being stalked, it’s not what is ultimately important. It’s a very difficult movie. It’s a thriller of sorts, but it’s not really Hitchcockian, as the inept quotes on the box state.

I love Patty Duke AND The Patty Duke Show.....and DR IRIS there are a few CD's of her "singing" career......the final track contains many outtakes.....

Usually they stop her a few measures in and say "good up to there...."

In one.....the orchestra plays the intro she sings one note and the producer calls: "Cut."

And Patty says: "Good up till there....."

I'm am skipping the Golden Globs.....I am sure I wouldn't know many of the nominees and winners.....for some reason the "class" has gone out of the awards shows......so I am not interested.

The last one I watch from start to finish in The Tony Awards.....

Jrand, I just listened to Patty Duke sing “Could I Leave You?” from Follies on Youtube.

She was definitely a better actress than a singer!
