I’m a pretty neat note-writer during, say, the early rehearsal periods of a show. But when it gets down to the wire during performances, my big urgent cues and other reminders to myself are sometimes not much more, um, sophisticated or refined than this example. I do take pleasure in erasing or at least neatening them up later, but sheesh, I’d be embarrassed for anyone to see them.

We had a light dusting early this morning, which went away but now it’s flurrying again for an hour or so. It won’t amount to anything, and knock wood, we’re doing very well so far this winter. I hope this pattern continues to hold.
