Listening to 'The Triumphs of Oriana,' that seminal madrigal cycle.

Speaking of madrigals, this is kind of an interesting (and somewhat wacky) video about another madrigal. It's about 12 minutes, but you can skip the "sing along" during the last part. It's interesting because it deals with the difference between "pure" intervals and the tempered tuning of the piano. And the overtone series.

DR George:  The Kindle case looks great. Maybe I missed something earlier, but I have no idea what that waiting 24 hours, etc., is all about.

(I’ve never had an actual Kindle. I just use the app on my iPad.)

I found it shocking.

It was to allow the adhesive on the Velcro pad attached to the Kindle to completely set up and be completely secure.

After World War II, the Japanese were nationalized and able to fly to just 5 places in the country with Idlewild Airport (JFK International) being one, which is why Canon, Nikon and Olympus located their corporate offices there.

Very interesting.

When the Brooklyn Bridge was completed in 1883, it became the first land -transport route between Long Island and mainland USA. Before that, the only way to travel between the two was by boat.

I recently read The Great Bridge about this.

I have showered. I feel human again.

Does all the heat & steam in the shower help your hand?  I do shoulder and knee exercises in the shower as it is easier.
