I woke up at one and answered e-mails and then just went right to work futzing and finessing and there was a lot of it to do, although I was very happy with the basic writing. Then I wrote five new pages and will now to get some food, then resume around five and I may, if I'm feeling it, just go until I finish. I believe I'm in the last twenty pages now and in fact the book proper finished last night and I'm in the coda now.

Home from the days work.  Looking forward to staying home this eve.  The boys will be happy as well.
I haven't picked up my kindle in years ever since the Kindle app for the iPhone was released.  Now I just read everything on an iPad or my phone.  Pluses and minuses for both, I'm sure.  I guess the biggest is convenience.

This time I did not watch the Libby video and simply followed the app directions.  It was soooo much easier ;D

I could never read on my little mini iPhone.  My tablet is convenient vs going between my tablet and a Kindle.

I mostly read books from my library.  If my main source of books was from Kindle then I would prefer reading on a Kindle.

I am also thinking about DR Danise as her funeral was yesterday morning.  I have a photo of her beautiful grave marker.

If anyone would like to see it, and know more details, ask and I will send you a PM.

Please do send the details Jane

I now have Libby set up on my tablet.  That was super easy.  All I had to do was download the app to my tablet, then go to my phone app and sink them.

My Kindle has a nondescript Amazon cover. Black.

Ditto. It does have a magnet which turns it on when I open the cover and turns the screen off when I close it. At least, I think it does. Does anyone ever really know if the refrigerator light goes off when you close the door?

Whew!!  My new Kindle case actually works correctly!

I think that what I was doing was turning it on before I put it in the case, and because of the magnets, it turned off.

But when I just put it in the case, closed it, and left it alone, it turned itself ON when I opened it up! ;D

Back from the supper club. It was a nice visit, and I had a delicious pesto salmon.

Kind of out of gas tonight, though, even with a brief nap earlier.

My $7.99 amaryllis bulb, bought on a whim, is now putting forth its third shoot of flowers. They are gorgeous.

Nice!

I got A Beautiful Noise and the new Music Man recordings from the library.

What a coikydink!  I also got A Beautiful Noise from the library, but not The Music Man.  I did, however, get the new Funny Girl in the mail yesterday.
