Brilliant people in all fields, theater, music, science, journalism, chefs, gardening, political figures, nature enthusiasts, etc.

I choose the people with whom I wish to engage in conversation, and I learn so much, share laughter and compassion, and hope that Elon Musk never succeeds in his desire to destroy it.

I may be completely screwed today. My cell phone is acting up. It has days in which I discover that the battery does not hold its charge. This has happened twice before, but it's usually b een fine for 4-6 weeks before the next bout. Because I hate getting out and about, I've ignored getting to a Verizon store to deal with the problem.

So . . . this morning at 4:00 on a bathroom break, I checked the time on the cell phone. It was dead after being charged at 6:00 last night. I plugged it back into its charger, and it's still charging. I have no idea if this is the end of my current cell phone or if it will work today. If it doesn't, I must cancel my appointment and AAR, since I cann ot get their text messages on a dead phone.

I’m more concerned about Groban’s acting skills than anything. I think Ashford can do practically anything after Dot and Kinky Boots.
