Felt like cheap food so did Jack in the Box, a few assorted items. Proofed another forty pages.

I need a haircut in the worst way.

That means I practically have to wet it down each morning to be presentable.

I'd much rather just run a washcloth over my head and be done with it for the day.

I also haven't shaved in a week.

I am sloth run amok.

Tomorrow I judge a barbecue competition.

Saturday, I'm ushering for the Miss Thurston County pageant. ::)

As opposed to the Miss Thurston Howell Competition?

Fortunately, yes. ;D

It lasted just under two hours with no intermission, but it didn't dramatically all, and it was very funny!

And now, a friend from out of state wants to video chat, so I'll be video chatting for a while.

When I was a kid, I had to be taken to the barber kicking and screaming.  Literally!  My poor mother.  I have no idea what childhood phobia I had about getting my hair cut

Looking back, I can see myself doing it, but I have no sense of why I was afraid of how I had such fear of going to the barber. But I can remember the bloodcurdling screams.

As an adult, I hate to go, because it seems like such a waste of time. I hate having to make small talk with the barber. I wish they would just let me sit. There have them cut it and get me out of there. Oh well, maybe I should try screaming again.
