Now that I can see and actually read again, I have returned to my friend Paul Ford's book Lord knows at least I was there. I have a copy of his original 4-million page tome, which was funny, very dishy with names named, and too repetitive, and I marvel that someone was able to trim it to a reasonable length. I admire Paul's honesty and often agree with him about shows, revisals, and performers. I think it's also funny, often outrageously funny.
