I got through it, but it turns out that in the correct key, it's just a bit too high for my now 56-year old voice...especially at 10:30 in the morning without really any warming up. :o

But other than the Fs and Gs, the rest of it (to me, of course) felt pretty good...and I did put down that I'm a baritone, so hopefully they take all that into account.

For the monologue, I didn't want to have to learn something new either, so I combined a few of my lines from A Murder is Announced (with the British accent) and I think nailed it.

51 degrees here right now, DR Jrand72.

I wore my light spring/fall jacket to run my errands just now -- which included filling the gas tank, and even being out in the air then was comfortable. We're s'posed to get back to colder temperatures after the weekend, I think.

In the meantime, please know that the price of gas is on the rise again.

Fortunately, not by a whole lot. But it can't just, you know, "settle", can it?

$3.11 at BJ's pump today. What's the low point I paid toward the end of the year? $2.76 or thereabouts?

I just had this happen for the fourth or fifth time in th last couple of days, so I'll ask:

Is anyone else having Facebook give you notifications for posts or whatnot that you've already gone to, and therefore they should just shut the hell up?

Yes, it's up over seventy-five cents here - it's just ridiculous. They get it lower because they threaten the oil companies. Then the oil companies just raise it again until they're threatened again. There should be sanctions against them for gouging - there is zero excuse for it.
