I think I got along better handling the 10-speeds than I ever did with the 3-speeds.

I always got a new bike - when my brother got a new bike and I got his old one.

They were usually Schwinn bikes purchased at the Western Auto store.

Thanks, Ginny!

I would hope Ann would join us if we go to the show, or at least join us for a dinner, or something.

I used to love Velveeta, but I was shocked what it tasted like after not having had any for the past fifty years.

I never liked Velveeta.  I think I would likely feel the same way if I ate American cheese, unless maybe I purchased white American from the deli counter the way I used to buy it.

I donated blood yesterday in honor of Danise. I didn't sleep well at all last night, and I have a headache this morning. Probably not related.

I know she would have appreciated that.  I wish I was permitted to do the same.

Interestingly, my iron was too low to donate from the finger prick on my right hand; the left hand iron level was good. I wonder why the difference.

Interesting.  At least one hand was good.  Do they always do a finger prick before taking blood?

Home from the doctor. Everything is running late today, so I've been very crabby today. Access-a-Ride was early, so I arrived 45 minutes early to my appointment; the doctor saw me thirty minutes after my appointment time, and I was beginning to have panic attacks I would miss my return AAR. I see my doctor again on Thursday for the cataract surgery clearance.

DR George how far from SeaTac is the theater?

The theater is at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, so with good traffic, the Sea-Tac airport is about an hour away.

George, what is the website for the theater?

I don't know if there's a specific theater website since it's part of the college, but if you go to this link:

https://spscc.edu/events/arts-entertainment

Then, right under the word "Arts" in "Arts & Entertainment Calendar," click the right blue arrow once to get to the WEEK OF SUN, APR 16, 2023 (on a desktop computer...you might need to keep clicking on a phone or other device).  You can then scroll down to the end of May and beginning of June listings to see that it looks like there are only going to be four performances.

That would be fun!  Hopefully, it can all be coordinated.  I'm sure that Jed can work that out. :)

The situation in Turkey is horrifying. The death has passed 6,000. Thankfully, World Central Kitchen has gone in to help. They’re now on the office-approved charity list, which means they match 100% of a donation through them.
