Nope.  I'll watch highlights after someone else has picked out the best parts. ;D

I will be doing the same.

I inherited Kerry's  Kitchen Aid mixer. It's not his birthday, but it is his birthday month. The mixer was whirling quite a bit today.

Hello all. Of course I was away so long it was inevitable I learned some bad news. I'll always remember DR Danise as such a gentle soul.

DR Kerry passed away several years ago, too.

I forgot how long DR Rodzinski has been away from us.

I wonder why there's a discrepancy in the dates. :-\

Let us know once you find out which dates are correct.

Definitely!

Thinking about well known actors currently appearing in Broadway shows.

Jessica Chastain stars in a “reinvention” of A DOLL’S HOUSE, starting on Feb. 13.
I wonder how many people will buy tickets just to see her.

I may have missed this here on HHW, but I just read that “La La Land” is in the process of a Broadway musical adaptation.

John G., I always enjoy your food photos and descriptions. You live in a great restaurant town.

So many possibilities! 😉

I hadn't heard that.  I'd only heard of Days of Wine and Roses.

It was just announced today by Marc Platt, Ben’s producer dad.
Bartlett Sher will direct.
Same musical creative team as in the film,
Hurwitz, Pasek and Paul.
No cast announced yet, still way too early.

They won Oscars for “City of Stars”.

I think this will do well on Broadway.

La La Land was like New York, New York lite, IMO. Let’s see how the latter fares on Broadway. It certainly has a better score.

Broadway audiences have changed so much over the years.

If it’s based on a well known film, and if the cast is widely known, it has a decent chance.
I suspect the cast will consist of well known celebrities.

By the way, John, now that I have all of the details of my daughter’s trip to Buenos Aires, I’m convinced that should be your next travel destination, if possible.

I find it comforting thinking of you using Kerry's mixture.

Tango and incredibly delicious food.

Great museums, outdoor marketplaces, super friendly people, wonderful bookstores, theater, opera, etc.

Logging out to watch the State of the Union Address.

Tough crowd this year. I wonder if those Republicans who wear assault weapon pins on their lapels will have the decency to remove them.

We planned a cruise from Lima to Buenos Aires, and sadly cancelled it due to covid.  I still hope to get to Buenos Aires one day.

I hate to say it, but I can't stomach watching the State of the Union and how bad actors will twist it.

I wish the past would invite me back to rectify a thing or two.

Great quote from Siegfried in this episode.
