Then I walked over to See's candy for lolypops for our flights.  They help keep my ears from plugging up during take-off and landing.

Thanks again all well wishers for my identity troubles. I did get a report today from “Chex.” Not the cereal, but another place you have to lock down besides the credit bureaus. The report didn’t have anything odd, no weird checking accounts found, so that was good. I await my police report, then I can respond in force to the collection agency. Yes, as someone mentioned, I’d like to see what ID was used by the apt complex to “confirm” my fake identity. I’d like to think they don’t have a photo ID, but how many times do you go to a doctor and they run off a copy of your license? So who knows?

TOD

I always liked the original Andromeda Strain adaptation.

I never read the book, but I really liked the original movie much better than the remake.

Agreed!  I read that and saw the movie.

So great seeing The Thomas Crown Affair again, and in a great theater. I’d forgotten a lot about it. But McQueen and Dunaway, and that Michel Legrand score…… wow.

The concert was excellent. He played encore after encore, Tchaikovsky’s Chanson sans parole, the theme from Schindler’s List, Smetana’s My Homeland, a de Feia piece as rearranged by Fritz Kreisler.

Neo-Nazis apparently protested a performance of Parade tonight in New York.
