Listening to the strangest thing - a Japanese cast recording of Promises, Promises with an all-female cast.

That's the Takarazuka company recording.  I actually bought the CD from Japan.  The theater company has been in existence since the early 20th century, and all the performers work for a specific railroad company.  They've recorded quite a few shows:

I watched CARNAL KNOWLEDGE last night for the first time since I had seen it when it was released.....1971.

I know the movie hasn't changed - but my reaction last night was quite different.

Archie: … Dragging me off to a moving picture like that, it was absolutely disgusting!

Edith: Well, I’m sorry, Archie. How was I to know? I thought it was a religious picture: Cardinal Knowledge.

It seems getting a replacement isn't as easy or quick as I originally thought.  Keith said he had to send photos and is waiting for it to be approved before they send a replacement.  He also had to take a photo after cutting the plug off.

I had been wondering if we would be required to return it.  They wouldn't want these still out there for people to use.  Cutting the plug off is easier than sending the fryer back.
