I was right to worry about my audiologist. I reached him today and he spent a week in the hospital. I am glad he is recovered and back at work.

The good news is the food poisoning seems to have abated - no bathroom visits in three hours, no upset tummy (actually, I never had an upset tummy) and I'm hungry, so I may order something mild. I'd sent Uber a note mentioning the food poisoning and that I thought it was probably the pastrami, which is exactly what I think it was, and they surprised me by refunding the entire cost of the meal, so that was nice.
