Finished Natalie Haynes’s latest, Stone Blind. I think it’s her best yet. She does feminist retellings of Greek myths. This one was a sympathetic look at Medusa. The humor was laugh-out-loud funny. Athena, for example, may be smart, but she has no social graces.

Tahiti was the same. Mostly we were on a Paul Gauguin cruise where the delicious food was included.

The word from New Jersey is that my aunt is walking a bit with a therapist. The good news is that they were able to re-set her leg in her pelvic cradle without surgery, so the recovery will be faster. Alas, she is not tracking well, even after the anesthesia has worn off. But that was slightly a problem before she fell.
