Dinner was surprisingly good. It was served after the seder.

Roast lamb, rice and a Jerusalem salad. Dessert was cake — made with flour.

There were leftovers, but I didn’t bring any home.

Watching the recent Puss in Boots. It’s half funny, half too long.

My church used to have a Seder on Maundy Thursday before heading to the sanctuary for a brief service and stripping of the altar

Roast lamb, rice and a Jerusalem salad. Dessert was cake — made with flour.

What is a Jerusalem salad?

Parsley, cucumber, red onion, tomatoes and bell peppers in a fine chop with olive oil and vinegar. Very refreshing.

It uses lemon juice, not vinegar and no bell pepper

Contractor can’t seem to quit us.
Backsplash for kitchen counters was due to be put in today. Drive into Canada with him to help pick it up. Bought some yummy butter chicken samosas at a little joint in this industrial park. Got home. 3 of the marble backsplash pieces were cut a little wrong, so those had to go back. Now he is trying to convince us our light switches are not modern enough. No more, I say!

If I could eliminate the tomatoes I’d would like it . I cannot abide a raw tomato
