Since they didn't sing the title theme in Valerie - I just imagined the Monkees song playing throughout the movie - now and then.

Music by Albert Glasser.

A group of leading medical researchers has recently published data indicating that Seder participants should NOT partake of both chopped liver and charoses.
It seems this combination can lead to charoses of the liver!!

One day after five people died in a mass shooting in Louisville and just a few weeks after mass shooting in a school - the Indiana Republicans passed a resolution honoring the NRA and its CEO.

The NRA is having a big rally this weekend in Indy and both former president $@^)^ and his VP Mike Piss will be speaking to the clan as it gathers.

I think for the next few weeks at least, we should refer to that one Mr. Sondheim musical as:

Sunday In the Park With George With George.

I've just been thinking of it as Sunday in the Park With DR George:)

Well, I was right! I read the Penguin in Ohio sometime before 1979, and I read the older Oxford University Press - there's an evenm newer one - several years ago.

At the library, most editions of fiction titles are all added to one bibliographic record for the patrons to search in the catalog, except for different translations of foreign works and different illustrators.  They found that patrons want a specific illustrator or translator, so they accommodate that.

To be fair, it’s really difficult anymore to schedule things around these incessant mass shootings!

A young girl left a Meta Message [I hate that system] on the theeder page - she had left a message last week so upset that she had missed the GREASE auditions - she didn't know when they were going to be, and it was a tragedy.  I mentioned in my reply that the information had been on the website since the beginning of March AND that the information had been linked to the very Facebook page that she was posting on.

So today she messages again and is all up in arms because THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG is having auditions and she just doesn't "know where to start."

I answered her by sending her DIRECT links to the Director's Note telling who he is looking for, the show information page, and the cast/crew page that gives her a list of all characters in the show, AND a link where she can read the entire script.

And what did I get back?
