I spoke to Joshie yesterday, and he asked me why I did nott come to City Center on Monday evening for the party celebrating the new rehearsal studio named after Jack to celebrate his twenty years of producing for Encores! I was embarrassed to say I had forgotten the date, but I am really pissed that I missed it.
I think I have enough quarters for that KitCat.

So I am home from all my jaunts. My podiatrist is happy, my ophthalmologist says I have 20/20 vision in the eye that was operated on last October and 20/50 vision in the latest eye. She said my cornea is still swollen and my vision will continue to improve. I can already see today's right eye sees better than it did on Monday, so I'm not unhappy.
Then Access-a-Ride took me to Cafe 82 where I had a lovely lunch with Jack. He told me all about the theatre he's seen, and I told him all about the things I would love to see. We laughed and dished a lot. It was quite delightful. I remain quite embarrassed about my early and too public dislike for him, and I must say that during the pandemic, while he and I were trying to get that recording project off the ground, I had the most wonderful time working with him.
I am back on west coast time.
