Auditions last night ranged from the ridiculous to the sublime.

Which is exactly what this particular theeder is used to, I haughtily daresay. Oh yes, I haughtily daresay. If I say so myself. If you get my meaning. If you catch my drift. I just want to make sure we're on the same page here.

There was one awkward sightread (because of the thoughtless page layout) -- and one just plain bad one, for which I accept blame along with the poor photocopy. Unfortunately, tragically, and sadly, I have no idea now what the song was, or I'd find the song right now and learn it.

New Rule:  Have a pencil and paper or the iPad at hand, and WRITE THESE THINGS DOWN immediately.

I was never comfortable playing auditions because I'm not a confident pianist, and I didn't want to be responsible for ruining someone's audition.
