They've only come on two or three times in the last couple of months, and if you turn your car on and off three times, the history of said error messages in the car's computer is deleted.

If they hook it up to a diagnostic computer, they should see how many times those warning lights have come in the last several months at least. Turning off your car a few times shouldn’t change that. What good would diagnostics computers be if they reset everything every 3 times you turned off the car? I am baffled.
