Just read an interview with Molly Ringwald, whose latest book is a translation of My Cousin Maria Schreiber. She says when she was younger, she met with Bertolucci about making a film of Queen’s Gambit. Interesting.

It did feel good to go to the gym this morning and then stop at the market for pears.

I have finally calmed down over that Staples mess - it really burns my ass that I have to return tomorrow with my receipt and redo everything - and I will tell more about my appointment.

This has just happened to both of us on the same day.

The car looked great, and I drove it home. When Nathan got home we checked it out together.

TWO (2) things are not working:  the backup lights don't come on, and the handle that opens the rear hatch doesn't open the rear hatch.

Unbelievable.  Completely, utterly beyond belief.

Closer to home, I would like to go to Antelope Canyon in Arizona.  DR Laura, you could meet me there.

The daily Bing Picture of the Day has featured several  images of this canyon over the years.

Watched Living (2022) tonight and loved it. It is based on the 1952 Japanese film Ikiru.
