Vixmom, your story hit close to home! Mother in law had so many excuses to not wear her medallion. One absurd one involved fear of EMTs breaking down their door. Ultimately, when she fell the other day, her husband was there. He took his sweet time calling an ambulance though while he searched for her medical card. Anyway, glad your scenario was a false alarm.
