Yesterday was an utterly exhausting day. I think I got a fairly decent sleep, in spite of the fact that I always wake up way too early these days, and today SHOULD be a better and more predictable one.

DR Elmore, I don't know what happened when you tried to submit your response, but I have come up against MANY instances of web pages and links/buttons simply not working at inopportune moments, thereby stopping my action - whatever it happens to be - dead in its tracks.

I sometimes blame the browser for stalling out on some pages, but when I try again on another browser with the same result... well, at that point you're ready to murder someone.

Well, wait just a moment and I'll tell you.

I'm seeing the closing matinee of Marat/Sade at the local college, followed by a Q&A session. I have never seen a production of it. I'm not sure I even watched the filmed version. I have the script, the music, the original stage recording, and a downloaded copy of the movie to bone up on. Should be fun.

This is the college theeder that blindsided me with their brilliant production of Allegro. After that (and a great Bat Boy last fall), there's no way I wasn't going to attend whatever else might be of interest.

I'm up, I'm up - four hours of sleep. I was just going to check email, but the galley and covers were there so I approved the galley and the softcover covers, but NOT the hardcover because for reasons unknown they shrunk the type size and it looked terrible - they're not supposed to touch what we sent them. Hopefully, I'll have that back today and can approve and then I'll wait for my test books.
