The only real activity I have planned is to go to the post office and then a ride to the recycling yard where I will unload a ton of cardboard material.

We used to have recycling pickup once a month here.  As of the first of this year, however, that service has been cancelled.  Too costly for the town budget.  Happily, the County has nearby recycling yards for all manner of waste.  It is well-maintained.

I'm fairly fortunate that there are garbage and recycling dumpsters right behind my condo building.  I can just walk it all back there.
