Yesterday was a complete mess. It began well, then I had a health crisis creating a huge mess. The afternoon went well, I settled in to watch a DVD, and around 8:30 the health crisis from the morning returned, and the next ninety minutes were even worse than the morning's disaster.
I fially got to bed some time between 10:30 and 11:00.

So, the alarm rang at 6:00 and I turned it off. Annabelle, Thatch, and I went back to bed, and around 7:10 or so I decided it was time to face the fiasl round of cleanup from yesterday's messes: laundry. I am currently moving rather slowly and cautiously.

Last night, I had an hour of joy watching the BBC production of the comedy currently playing on Broadway, Peter Pan Goes Wrong. It's very funny, the comedy running from parodies of bad community theatre actors to slapstick to surreal bits of nonsense.

No self-propelling mower here, just your standard gas-powered push mower with "assist" or whatever they call it. As long as you hold the handle thingy in, it'll pull itself forward, and that's a great help, but I think a real self-propelled mower is a much fancier machine than that.

And then I must hie myself to Trumbull, Connecticut, for an afternoon rehearsal, a couple of hours break, and an evening concert. The break isn't nearly long enough to justify coming home in between, so I'll find somewhere to sit and have a bite and relax. Which is totally fine.

Far from it, in fact, with the first thing tomorrow morning being a visit to the dentist where I'm having $250 extracted.

(She's removing an approximately 40-year old crown and putting a temporary on, and we've got to see how that tooth does before moving on because there's some decay and some gum disease up there and that's got to be resolved before a permanent fix is decided on.)
