We did ACT TWO twice - with two substitute actors - and we made it through.....there will be some changes made....but we are getting there.

There was an article about the local BIG Equity Theatre in Indy....about all of the "famous" people who have done shows there.

The headline in the print edition was:  MANY FAMOUS STARS AT IRP.

Unfortunately it is the Indiana Repertory Theatre - IRT.

I remember vividly that the Artistic Director of IRP used to tie up the rights to many plays just coming available for professional production....saying she "might" do them.....so that my friend Bryan could not do them at his theatre.

And of course most of them she never did.

And before her we had execrable Libby Appel who lost almost a third of the theatre's base subscribers.....and hired her son to do all the music for her stupid versions of plays and all of her untalented friends from NYC to do roles in her shows - some say....not I....I don't think.

Then she moved on to DR JANE's territory and was the AD at, I think, the Oregon Shakespearean Wigwam and Storm Door Company.

She did an S/M Hamlet that had the title character in a studded black leather jockstrap and spinning on a giant game show wheel.....

Stunning image, JRand. Even in my pain, I felt a twinge more.

Loved The Slipper and the Rose for all its faults. Watched the Sherman Brothers extra but couldn’t take anymore.

DQ is offering a new dipped cone. Churro Dipped Cone. Had to try it.
The churro flavor is pretty good. Not sure I’d get it again though.

Of course, I just HAVE to live two blocks from DQ! ::)

2 blocks would be brutal for me. Like when I lived across the street from a Taco Bell in grad school.
