I like The Glenn Miller Story.

It’s quite good, especially in comparison with other bio flops like Words and Music and Night and Day.

Wiki sez he was The first British artist to have a UK No.1 single in the UK and in the United States with "Cara Mia", featuring Mantovani and his orchestra.

Yet wiki also sez Whitfield’s “Cara Mia” only went to No. 10 in the US. Who knows?

Apparently DeSantis's big launch on Twitter with Musk crashed. I feel so sorry for them. Not.

This past weekend I was a Star Trek convention where I spent some time chatting with a voice  actor.

Cool!

I was released early tonight because the director wanted to work on a couple of things I am not involved in.

AND he said we will not have the planned Monday rehearsal so after tomorrow - FOUR DAY WEEKEND!

Very nice, Jrand!

I last watched The Glenn Miller Story probably about 30 years ago.

And do you own the LP soundtrack album?  If not, you will find many copies in every used record store in the U.S.

I love the two movies that Glenn Miller was in, Sun Valley Serenade and Orchestra Wives. The way the band was photographed in both is exceptional.

The shots of the band here isn’t in the same league.

Chili’s not mentioned. But I don’t want garbanzo brownies or ice cream

I was just fascinated with The Woman and the Dale - but you get a lot of it in episode one.
