I watched PEYTON PLACE twice a week.....I think it was only on three times a week for a short while.

Back from a nice lunch with Marshall Harvey. He'll now properly sync Champion so I can watch it properly.

Also picked up Diet Cokes - four for fifteen bucks - that's as cheap as it gets.

DR Rodzinski, is not having a tv part of your new life style?

Isn’t a cable co servicing our town and don’t feel like doing satellite stuff. We have a couple streaming services on computer but we just don’t watch much.

Really enjoying Rear Window. What a great cast. Thelma Ritter was the best.

Wishing I could see the Indy 500, but have no tv here.

It’s ending very weirdly, DR Rodzinski.

Followed the end online. Crazy!

It was the last year those Math books were going to be used and so they were stocking up on the new editions that were going to be used starting the next fall.

I guess we were lucky they had even ONE left.

Oh my, you were lucky.

Who here remembers the three-night-a-week ABC "Peyton Place" series in the 1960s?

Mia Farrow, Ryan O'Neal, Barbara Parkins and Christopher Connelly were the "new stars" that got started there.

That was before we had a TV set.

When did you get your first tv?

Around 1970-71. I was in third grade. I think it was from S&H Green Stamps.

You could buy wonderful, useful items at those stores.

Hardly. It didn’t even have UHF.

Back -- from a beautiful day sitting in the shade under huge trees in a really nice yard, eating grilled cheeseburgers, bratwursts, a great southwestern-style salad with rotisserie chicken, a delicious pasta salad, a fine cole slaw, and a delicious homemade strawberry rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream.

Now, what's for dinner?

Final evening at the in-laws house. We move them to assisted living tomorrow. Then we’ll do a little prep and cleanup here. Have a company come and sort out all the junk. House will go on sale in a few days. Bittersweet. Wife’s only childhood home. It was nice having the option to come here and visit or stay if our power went out or whatever. But they just couldn’t stay here anymore.
