I had a busy morning, as it turned out.  Futzing with this, that and the other...and there is plenty of other yet to be futzed with.

But I made some noticeable headway, and I am encouraged that all my efforts ain't been in vain for nothin'.

Odd thing:  I find I went through all of my Tovala meals over the three-day weekend.

I usually make them last at least through Thursday (after getting them on Friday). And two of the meals were twofers, which means there are two portions in each box of a twofer.

I guess that's what comes from not going out on Sunday for lunch and from not making a fresh veggie run to Cook's roadside market.  I usually have meals I cook from scratch several times a week.  Will have to make a trip for more veggies.

It did. At the time I thought it would be easier for them to get up from it. Didn’t work out, but place was quick to fix it.

The thing is, for us of a more mature age, that low beds are hell to get into and out of.  Of course, if it's too high, it's again a problem.

It's best that they find the right height right away.

There are some (most likely expensive) beds that are height adjustable.

I have an allergist appointment Thursday morning, and the trek takes me past Sara's Roadside Stand coming and going.

Sara's is always a treat, as is Cook's.

And, since I'm in North Augusta for my appointment, CostCo is nearby and will get more of my business before I return home.

The thing is, for us of a more mature age, that low beds are hell to get into and out of.  Of course, if it's too high, it's again a problem.

It's best that they find the right height right away.

I happen to be short, but I know what you mean about beds that are too low.  Same goes for toilets that are too low

Maybe I'm just thinking of hospital beds, but I would assume that there are some for regular people at homes.

I am guessing we'll have the debt ceiling raised despite Trump's pronouncements that the GOP should refuse to do so.

That would ruin our economy and the world's on a scale comparable to/if not worse than the great depression.

Trump truly wants to "rule" the world.
