I lived in Italy for five years, and believe me: A lot of public toilets are simply ceramic holes in the floor. Happily, they put hand-hold bars on the walls. The TP is like sandpaper, rather than the luxury softeness we buy.

I put on To the Wonder again. I’m going to finish it. It’s good, but it’s not easy. This was the last movie Roger Ebert reviewed. He loved it. I only like and respect it.

They are in a furnished temporary room for 3 weeks while their fulltime space gets updated.

Still at their house but soon moving to a storage room at the facility until their suite is ready.

I gather their house will be going up for sale soon. Will it be an empty home? Staging is popular here but maybe it isn't in Canada.

Professionals began emptying it today. The house will likely be a tear-down.
