I spent the bulk of my evening watching new episodes of "Manifest".

I have completed 4 of the 10. Am still riveted by the story line.

Iris, I’m spending a week on Kauai and a week on Maui. The only sure destinations I know are:

Mama’s Fish House, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to
The coral reef across the street from the time share
Ross Dress for Less, for the best Hawaiian shirts I have found.

We came home from Kauai 4 days before the island was destroyed by Hurricane Iniki in Sept. of
1992.
We were staying at a lovely resort on Poipu Beach, Kiahuna Plantation…totally gone.
They were filming Jurassic Park on Kauai at the time, and the cast and crew had to ride it out.

And which part of Maui?
I’ve stayed in 4 locations on both islands, all completely different from each other.

Really? I have had Mahi-Mahi a few times and never thought it sweet, per se. It can be prepared many different ways.

I also like Mahi-Mahi.
I like to grill it, coated with a little bit of olive oil and blackened seasoning.
Reminds me a little bit of halibut.

Kihei is a great place for exploring Maui.
