Jerry Goldsmith used the Jews Harp in his score for the film "Stagecoach".

And, again, only "1 ghost guest".

Now there are "5 guests" and me.

I have an audience.  If only I had musical accompaniment.

I'd sing and a dance and do a commercial for myself,

Where's a ball peen hammer when you really need one?

I had one but dropped it and it broke in half.
It’s just a peen hammer now.

One of the books I am reading on the flights is The Late Mrs. Willoughby, the second Mr. Darcy snd Miss Tilney mystery. The characters from Jane Austen’s novels all seem to travel in the same circles, and murder is always at hand. Darcy is the son of Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam. In this one, many of the folks from Sense and Sensibility are involved. Whodunnit? Doesn’t matter as much as the fun of spending time with these people.

The author, Claudia Gray, is a longtime friend of my friend, Rodney. Her real name is Amy Vincent.

Amy was another of Rodney’s lifelines when he was on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? She helped him with a Starbucks question. He took the money on a question I could have helped him with — what is the Mona Lisa painted on?  But he had used up his lifelines. He took the money. $70,000, if I recall correctly.

The church I grew up in; a spectacular setting beside the sea.

Wow!  That must have an incredible view!

I ended up sleeping in the recliner last night because everytime I laid flat I couldn’t breathe.

I was a lifeline for my friend Charlie Carson around 1999. He gave up when the lifeline he used wasn't sure of the answer to who was the inspiration for Nora Charles in "The Thin Man." I could have answered that. He ended up with a nice bundle of money and to thank me, he took me to dinner and The Producers (house seats).

There is no Jew's Harp in Moonshine & Mistletoe, BTW.

From Rodzinski:

Quote
My youngest had a dance recital today. How I moaned about the dozens of emails we received about every damn thing. Pages and pages with PDFs about her hairdo etc. But that all went out the window when I watched this high-quality dance show today, with excellent choreography and super-cute littles.

I read a couple of the Jane Austen detective mysteries. My problem was the books sounded nothing like Jane's actual novels.

DR Iris, I think it was very special that your mother spoke to her class about what your family endured.  Where was your mother born?

I did mention to Jed about coming back to HHW.  We'll see if he or Ann does.

Ann did post Friday night :)
