My YouTube experiences have not gone the route of Reels and Shorts.

I get irritated by Ms.MoJo. She puts up interesting ideas, but she runs her mouth throughout when all I want to see are the scenes she has chosen to make her case for whatever -- funniest comedy scenes, best musical numbers, etc.

It's all about THEM, isn't it! Not the subject they lure you with but THEM.

There are "historical" or "scientific" segments meant to "WOW" you about new revelations or discoveries. But when you watch, there is always a British voice attempting to give an overview of history or science without EVER getting to the come-on line they put into their titles.

There are true gems of entertainment on YouTube, and those are what I seek out.

It is supposed to be Tuesday here in Johnston SC.

Tuesday, June 13, 2023 is how they put it.

I wonder how they KNOW it's Tuesday!! When was it decided to name "this day" Tuesday? And what was it called before they called it Tuesday?

And how do we know they chose the correct day to BE Tuesday?

Maybe tomorrow is the real Tuesday, and we are celebrating Tuesday on what is really supposed to be Monday.

I tell you, retirement has made me question things that never occurred to me before!

I completely forgot to say something about this. I tried to get in last night, too - I could be wrong, but I'm thinking it was around 10:30 pm eastern - and about half an hour later the site was still unreachable. I was falling asleep at that point, so no idea how long it lasted. DR Ron says about an hour.

EDIT: Time estimate revised and corrected in a later post.

The Sunday afternoon outage was, like, three hours, that much I know for sure.

I slept well.

Had a strange, ongoing dream.

I was maintaining a database for a community theater. I had entries on every person who had ever auditioned for, and who had been cast in, plays. And the intent in my mind was that when we were holding auditions, I would print out each person's data and give it to them for an update.

As it happened, though, I was attempting some updates and the company director said I was wasting my time. Nobody was using it or wanted to use it.

I had it on an external hard drive, so I erased it all and gave up my efforts.

And what happened next? Yes! Suddenly, that database became crucial for a director who wanted to pre-select potential actors for a play.

I woke up semi-cackling.
