I‘ve flown small planes like that a number of times. I didn’t like it at all! The trips from Dallas to Houston were always full of turbulence. I felt like I needed a helmet. Ugh! No lovely views, either. I can understand Mrs. R’s reaction.

I have no desire to ride in a small plane as I find them scary and figure I would throw up. A seaplane over a lovely view is tempting.

My uncle fell out of a helicopter — camera and all — once. I recall visiting him in the nursing home. He recovered, but it’s a memory I won’t forget.
