I met Sheldon Harnick when Bruce Pomahac hired me to score a couple of songs from Rex that Sheldon wanted back in the score. After that, since we lived only a few blocks apart, I saw him around the neighborhood. He was a true mensch.

My rabbit, Freddy Joe, was white but he didn’t have pink eyes. He did have about five black hairs on his nose, which were fairly unnoticeable until you got close up.

I dreamt about Freddy last night and remember getting close enough to see those black hairs and cuddle with him.

I also liked your story about your rabbit. The only rabbit we ever had would not let us hold her.....she was good at biting finger tips....and also ate most of the litter of baby bunnies she had - before we turned her loose into the wild.
